High Intensity Support Activities

There are two levels of supports for people requiring assistance with daily activities: Standard and Higher Intensity. High Intensity Supports are where specialised, more skilled or more experienced support workers may be required to deliver supports to some participants who need it.

The Higher Intensity Supports is characterized by three levels – all based on the skill and qualifications of the staff members used to deliver supports to participants, allowing for these additional costs for some 1:1 supports.

A higher intensity support may be paid where a participant requires assistance from a support worker with additional qualifications and experience relevant to the participant’s complex needs .

 

Assistance With Travel/Travel Arrangement

DCS provides Assist Travel Transport for NDIS who find it challenging to use the public transport as a result of their disability. DCS does not just employ professionals to drive you around whilst you feel unsafe. Your safety is paramount to us, so as our employees. Therefore, we ensure our staff undergo police background checks and a valid NSW Driver’s license. DCS can also assist you with specialist transport arrangements as per your requirement. Should you require transport arrangement thru and from school, work, doctor’s appointment, shopping, outings, and/or from one place to another, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. DCS can support you with this.

 

Community Nursing

DCS nurses work very closely with our community. Community with people from different cultural backgrounds, and special conditions or illnesses. We are proud to be able to be a helping hand through providing Professional nursing care to NDIS participants both in clinical setting and in the comfort of their own homes. Our NDIS Nurses are not only culturally sensitive, they also possess the right skills and knowledge required to provide quality and competent care.

Household Task

DCS professionals are qualified to provide Household task such as cleaning, laundry, washing, vacuuming, meal preparation, cleaning stoves tops, wiping down bench tops and inside fridges as well as vacuuming or mopping floors, dusting, dishwashing, changing bed linen, washing, drying and doing essential ironing. you name it.
